E-Notebook Instant Messenger Voice Over Internet

Further it is an ideal tool for brainstorming, capturing ideas, problem solving, information sharing and decision-making.

SmartDoodle™ Collaborative Conference consists of tightly coupled modules that work seamlessly together to provide a superior, secure, feature rich collaboration, conferencing, and educational training and communication solution. It includes an E-Notebook, Whiteboard capture device, Instant messenger, Voice over Internet with conversation and audio note recording and replay features and an Administration module. An optional add-on Reader (Hot Link) product allows read only access to the encrypted content for Computer Based Training or for controlled access to select members of an organization.

E-Notebook is a flexible shared electronic board that enables capture, organization, editing, annotation, synchronization and replay of content used in the online meeting (s) including synchronized voice conversations, free hand drawings and notes, shared files, documents, images and URLs. An E-Notebook can be used in one to one or many to many meetings or in an offline mode for replay, editing, publishing or adding notes (audio, text, images or drawings). New pages can be seamlessly added to organize content from one or more meetings for easy replay and editing. Additionally, E-Notebook can launch co-browsing, e-mail and application sharing functions.

SmartDoodle™ Collaborative Conference offers three ways of capturing handwritten notes and drawings. Figure A above shows the simplest way of capture using a standard keyboard and mouse. Figure B above shows capture using an off the shelf graphics tablet with a stylus or a pen. Figure C above shows a flexible and portable receiver that attaches to a whiteboard or any flat surface and transforms the whiteboard into an interactive electronic board. As shown in the figure C, with a projector and an inkless stylus (acts as a pen and a mouse), the whiteboard transforms into a E-Notebook and a live desktop.

IM in group with voice

The instant messenger allows setting up of groups and sending invitations, provides online presence and availability information, enables text and voice chats with individuals or groups and allows one or more file transfers in a natural text embedded mode.

SmartDoodle™ Collaborative Conference includes a voice over internet protocol module which is seamlessly integrated with the Instant Messenger and the E-Notebook. As shown in figure D, a wireless audio device or a microphone captures voice in a group conference that is then transmitted over the internet for remote participants. Figure E shows a participant using a headset to participate in the online meeting. Figures F and G above show integration of voice functionality with E-Notebook and Instant messenger.
